Flare completed its 36-month FlareDrop distribution in December 2025, removing a major source of ongoing sell pressure from scheduled token releases. The network launched Google Cloud Oracle integration in February 2026, expanding its data feeds beyond crypto prices to include traditional financial data, and added LayerZero connectivity spanning 15+ chains. TVL has grown to roughly $380M (+280% YoY) as new DeFi protocols launch on the network, but FLR remains a small-cap asset with thin liquidity relative to larger L1 peers, and staking-related inflation of roughly 12% continues to be a consideration for holders.
