Grayscale's GADA ETF remains filed, and CME ADA futures have been live since Feb 9, 2026, opening the SEC's 6-month fast-track eligibility window on Aug 9, 2026. The previously expected end-of-October 2026 SEC decision on the spot ADA ETF is now at risk of delay: the SEC entered a funding lapse on Oct 1, 2026 as the US fiscal year began without a budget, halting new crypto ETF reviews so that registration statements cannot be declared effective and no new comment letters are being issued while the lapse continues. Volatility Shares' ADA futures-based ETFs (CRDD, CRDX), launched April 2026, remain the only regulated US ADA exposure products in the meantime. This introduces near-term uncertainty for spot ETF timing despite otherwise favorable fast-track eligibility.
